There are many advantages for having one’s own business but I believe a network marketing home business has to be the crème de la crème. Network marketing above any other online business will continue creating the most online entrepreneurs. Firstly ask any of the successful online entrepreneurs are they happier with the amount of time they spend with their families and the answer will be predominantly yes. That has to be the biggest advantage.

Other business people will spend long hours at work away from their homes, away from their family, friends etc.Traffic, business meetings, travel, are going to be significant factors in any other business. These factors keep you occupied which in turn alienates you from the things you enjoy in life. With a home based business, your time is your own. You make the rules and all work is done online, no commuting, no “dressing for the office” etc. You getting the picture yet?

Another huge advantage is your taxes. Every democratic government is crying out for entrepreneurs like you to go and do their own thing. Unemployment is a huge factor on which governments are judged by year in year out. If you can make it on your own without working for a public or private body, your going to make a lot of politicians happy. Basically now you are off the grid, able to “earn your own crust”, not having to work for someone else that the government also lured into the country/state.

So you might ask, what is my government going to do for me in return? Well, by filing your taxes efficiently and by claiming for anything and everything that is related to your own home business, you should in effect pay at most half if not much lower that a regular person who is paying government taxes. This “unwritten rule” really irritates the people who pay government taxes but in my opinion, it is correct. Any individual willing to take a chance deserves to succeed and deserves the perks for doing so.

Finally, the most rewarding advantage of network marketing is that you are helping people achieve their dreams. This in my view is the biggest difference between a conventional company and network marketing. Anyone who has had experience working in a small business will tell you that the goal every month was to sell as much as possible at all costs. Customer relationships came second to the bottom line sales figure every month.

In network marketing, it’s all about relationships. They are paramount to the success of your business. You must think in this manner as your downline are much more important to what you make this month. Your downline are your long term business builders. Look after them and they will make you very successful. But isn’t it rewarding to know at the end of it that all, the people that made you successful were the very same people that you guided to success. These scenarios are happening every day in network marketing. If you want to become one of these people give your home based business a try, you have nothing to lose only a regret that you didn’t start it sooner!

MLM Recruiting Like The Pro’s! The other day I was talking with a someone who just got started in network marketing and asked me how do I recruit people into my business like the pro’s? He also has previous mlm experience. I started off asking him, do you want to make money or spend money? Of course he laughed with me. He said make money. I said great. So how will you do this in you new mlm business opportunity? He said I will do what I did last time. I said what’s that? He said buy generic leads from a lead company and cold call them. I asked him did that work for you last time in you old mlm business? He said sometimes. I said why would you do the same thing again if it never worked for you last time? He said, because that’s all I know how to do!

This is the challenge with mlm today. New and veteran network marketers are not taught any marketing in their mlm business. They are just told to buy generic leads from lead companies and cold call them. This does not help with the 95% failure rate in our great industry. So I started of by suggesting to him that he learn how to generate highly targeted red hot prospects on his own. I let him know that the one thing you should not do in your mlm business is outsource you lead generation. You never know were you leads come from and you never have control over your business and the leads you generate are exclusive to you only! Then I suggested that he use a system that will generate these red hot super targeted mlm prospects and at the same time have the prospects he generates pay him to be on his list!

I let him know that you do this by providing a product or service that will help other network marketers on how to build a successful mlm business. This system will also give him the opportunity to generate cash and targeted red hot prospects endlessly. I also suggested that the main reasons great people in network marketing quit is because they over spend themselves out of their mlm business and also not having enough leads to promote their mlm business. So the key is to first generate your own red hot super targeted prospects so you have total control over your business and at the same time generate cash for you mlm business even if no one joins you.

First of all…do you even know who we’re talking about here? We’re talking about ALL the network marketers who still haven’t figured out that MARKETING is what makes the Network Marketing business “go round”.

Let me ask you something right now…if you had the greatest product in the world and if nobody knows about it, are you going to make any money from it?

Seems pretty simple, right?

Yet, what still puzzles me is how people just say, “I really want to make $25,000 a month in residual income, and I’m really going to do it!”…

Oh, and then 3 weeks later they decide to quit because they’ve just spoken to 5 people and every one said NO. Somehow they have lost all their goals, hopes and dreams of creating financial wealth for themselves.

You know what?

I don’t think like that…and I don’t act like that. If I am faced with an obstacle, I DESTROY it…stopping at nothing to be on the cutting edge of technology…and to know the most innovative marketing strategies of today…as they are happening, and to employ, engage and utilize them in business every day.

You need to really begin asking yourself some important questions…right now.

Such as…are you ready to be an entrepreneur, a visionary, or are you just “wishfully thinking” that you “could” be an entrepreneur?

Are you ready to devote yourself to becoming a student…learning marketing, leadership and personal growth?

Or are you just going to continue to sit in front of that TV another few years, singing that old “shoulda, woulda, coulda” song??
You know that one right? I shoulda joined that company. I woulda been a great network marketer. I coulda had such great success.

Now, I’m not sure if you would do that or not…in fact since I’ve never met you before, I’m not even sure what you want in life.

But I’m just showing you the difference between the two mentalities…the different “mindsets”. One mentality will never stop in achieving its goals. The other will never even get started.

YOU have a choice right here…right now…TODAY…

You can choose to become the student…beginning to THINK BIG and ACTING NOW. To associate yourself with those people who are right on the cutting edge of this day and age Or you could continue doing whatever you’ve been doing…and getting whatever you’ve been getting.
The choice is yours…it’s all in your hands.

That small little voice inside your head that’s saying “Damn, this guy sounds serious…I have got to find out what he’s all about and if he’s doing what he says he is…Man, I want to be part of his team…IMMEDIATELY!”

So, just listen to that little voice inside your head…believe me…that voice is trying to guide you in the right direction to get the knowledge that you’re seeking.

Remember, that marketing is the key to your network marketing success!

It’s time to stop playing around and just step up and take network marketing by the horns…instead of it taking you…

In online business, traffic is pretty much equal to money, assuming of course that your traffic is targeted. And for that same reason, the majority of your time is probably spent trying to drive traffic to whatever it is your selling. Many people are a victim of their own arrogance when it comes to getting traffic; are you on of these people?

For most people, traffic consists of 2-3 sources, usually SEO, PPC and perhaps some paid text link ads. The truth is, SEO and PPC are great, but they’re only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to traffic.

Below is a list of what I consider to be the best traffic sources, in no particular order. After testing conversions on your campaign, you should try each and everyone of these traffic tactics, why not? Afterall, the more traffic you have, the more sales you will make, and the more money you’ll have in your pocket. Then you can go get your wife that face lift she’s been needing for the last 10 years (just kidding - probably more like 5 years).

1. Pay Per Click Traffic (Adwords, MSN Adcenter, Yahoo, Adbrite etc.)

2. SEO (Natural organic traffic from search engines)

3. Paid banner advertisements (TribalFusion, adwords, commision junction etc.)

4. CPA Networks (Cost Per Action Networks - Modernclick, CPA Empire, Azoogle Ads etc.)

5. MySpace/Friendster/Facebook etc. (social networking)

6. Social Bookmarking (Furl, Del.icio.us, etc.)

7. Video Submissions (Youtube, Google Video etc.)

8. Press Release (PRweb and smaller press release networks)

9. Directory Submissions (paid directory submission, mass directory submissions etc.)

10. Forums (post on relevant topics, links in signature etc.)

11. Tag Sites (sites that let you tag and link back to relevant pages)

12. Legitimate Blog Posting (post relevant comments on blogs, with link back to your site)

13. Sponsored Newsletter Ads (pay to include your ad in large online or offline magazines)

14. Classified Ads (Craigslist.com, offline newspapers)

15. Magazine Ads (pay for magazine ads in relevant print magazines)

16. RSS Feed Submissions (submit your RSS Feed to various directories/aggregators)

17. Co-Registration (purchase co-reg leads and direct them to your site or newsletter)

18. Create a Newsletter (to get repeat sales, repeat traffic, customer loyalty etc.)

19. Page Generation/Cloaking (mass automated page generation and cloaking)

20. Text Link Ads (purchase text links on quality sites; Text-Link-Ads.com, Linkworth.com etc.)

21. PayPerPost (purchase posts on relevant, quality blogs; PayPerPost.com)

22. Reviews (purchase review(s) on ReviewMe.com)

23. Articles (write or have quality articles written and submit to major article networks; Ezinearticles.com, Isnare.com, ArticleMarketer.com etc.)

24. Squidoo (create and promote a relevant squidoo page)

25. StumbleUpon

26. Viral Campaigns (offer a free viral report or useful download etc.)

27. Affiliate Program (create an affiliate program so affilites can drive traffic to your product)

28. Business Cards (include your URL on your business card, and hand them out)

29. Word of Mouth (encourage people to tell their friends, family, co-workers etc.)

30. Tell-A-Friend Script (include a tell a friend script on your website, offer a bonus for referring friends)

31. Software Submissions (if you have a software product, submit it downloads.com and other free software sites, offer a trial version)

32. Create a blog and offer quality content to gain loyal customers/visitors.

33. Other Web 2.0 Sites (their are hundreds of social networking sites begging for exploitation)

34. Carvertising (include your url on your car)

35. TV/Radio Advertisements (tv and radio advertising are cheaper than you think and can do wonders for branding and driving traffic)

36. Buy Qualifiied Leads (there are many lead brokering companies that actually sell legitimate pre-qualified leads in a variety of niches)

37. Create a Buzz (a good example is the MillionDollarHomePage which created a media buzz and drove a *ton* of traffic and a million dollars in sales).

There you have it, 37 powerful traffic tactics that you can use regardless of what your selling. Now don’t be lazy, take action, and make things happen. Only action will get results.
