Network marketing is not by any means a get rich quick scheme. If you’re looking for a way to make vast amounts of money in a very short time then you should probably consider crime or gambling, but I wouldn’t advise either! It is an amazing industry and it has changed so many lives. It is a business that combines direct selling of products and/or services with recruiting of sales representatives. Network marketing businesses function by recruiting salespeople to sell a product or service and then offer additional commissions based on the sales of people recruited into a downline (a team of people that includes direct recruits as well as the recruits of those recruits, etc.).
Network marketing Businesses can help you achieve your goals. But you have to have the desire and commitment to your business if you want to succeed. Business cards are always a good method and more inexpensive than one realizes.

Downline is the term that refers to your team structure and those you’ve recruited into your network marketing company in which they sell your product, and you get a percentage of their sales. One of the biggest challenges of any network marketing business is building a downline. The reason for this is that you really need to be very good at marketing to get your first level in your downline and then you need to teach them how to duplicate. They in turn need to teach the people who they recruit also how to duplicate. It is pointless if you only recruit and nobody else does any work. I think this is the biggest challenge in any network marketing business and the reason most of the people that you recruit are likely to dropout.
You need to create a duplicatable system that everyone can follow. It is much better to keep things simple so that everyone can follow it. For example this could consist of a web site used to generate leads, a follow up system that will close the leads and scripts that you can use to qualify the people who join your business so that you only recruit serious people. Then you will have a training system in place that teaches your downline how to be profitable within a few weeks. In turn if your downline follows the same step by step process duplication will start happening.
Some key aspects of this process which you need to master are: you need to teach or show your downline what to do, you need assist the first couple of times they recruit someone or sell products to help them gain confidence and you need to recognize your successful mlm team members which demonstrates to the unsuccessful mlm team members that the system actually works.
Once you understand this process of recruiting and duplicating you are more likely to succeed at your network marketing business and building a downline.
